NWT Soccer Announces Upcoming Coach Education Courses

NWT Soccer is pleased to offer two exciting coach education opportunities this fall to support the growth and development of coaches across the North. 

Futsal Certificate

The Futsal Certificate course is set for Sunday, August 31, 2025. This course is a great opportunity for coaches looking to gain more experience in futsal. With futsal continuing to grow in the NWT and across Canada, this certificate will equip coaches with the skills and knowledge to confidently lead players in this fast-paced game. This is a great addition to a coaches portfolio, expecially for coaches looking to be involved in the 2026 Arctic Winter Games. The Futsal Certificate is a pre-requisite for the Futsal Diploma. C Diploma

In September NWT Soccer will start the C Diploma course. For all dates please visit the Advanced Coach Education Page. The C Diploma is a nationally recognized program offering a deeper dive into coaching principles, planning, and player development. This diploma is ideal for coaches working at the community or competitive level. The C Diploma combines online and in-person sessions and is a key step in Canada Soccer's coaching pathway. 

Both courses are designed to empower local coaches and elevate the level of soccer and futsal throughout the Northwest Territories.
